Gudrun Sallaberger-Plakolb: Austria
Gudrun was born in Austria and started to paint during her time living in Sweden. She later studied at the "Art Academy Antwerpen Noord" in Belgium before moving to Switzerland in 2012.
Gudrun’s works are a composite of subject matter, technique, and personal experience. She approaches interpretation in a variety of ways using as much of the vocabulary of art as is possible, rather than being confined to the limits of one medium, technique or subject.
Inspired by previous experiences, an emotion or a photograph, she starts painting spontaneously and continues until the finished painting has the power to evoke an emotional response in its viewer. Gudrun has participated in several international exhibitions, in Sweden, France, England, and in Switzerland.
