A concrete image is not as important to Anna-Katharina, instead she seeks movement, an interaction between the lines, shapes and forms. She predominately works with acrylics on canvas in producing sort-after, colourful abstract paintings. In her pictures, colours bustle, playing with each other in a breath-taking rhythm, infatuating the senses.
Anna-Katharina Rintelen is originally from Basel, Switzerland and has been living, and working as a freelance artist in Freiburg i. Br., Germany since 2010. She attended "Colour & Form" at the School of Design in Basel, studied at the Free Art Academy Basel and attended the Art International Sommer Academy Salzburg.
Anna-Katharina Rintelen has been exhibiting for the past 15 years mainly, in Switzerland and Germany.
