Gaby Roter: Germany
Gaby Roter is an award-winning artist, born in Germany, who graduated at "HKS" Basel, and at the "Academy of Munich". Soon after her studies, Gabby worked as a theatrical painter and assisted in "Kunst am Bau" projects by Franz Fédier.
She changes her techniques and mediums according to her topic. A returning theme is an interplay and exploration of the boundaries of what belongs to being human, nature and its influence through mankind's intervention. Gabby loves to work in large scale format and is fascinated by colour, Ink, resins, and etchings.
"We are a small part of this great process and often act carefree with our environment. In cycles and stories, I artistically process topics that occupy me." - Gaby Roter.
Established within her profession, Gaby Roter has received many awards and has participated in numerous individual and group exhibitions across Europe. She has received commissions for large-scale pieces of art in public spaces such as: "Stockholm Technical University", "Swedish Embassy", "Hochbauamt Radolfszell", "Deutsche Bank", "Volksbank","Sparkasse","VHS", "Boehringer Ingelheim".
