Tzu Chen Chen: Taiwan (France)
Tzu Chen Chen's approach to her art has always been unconventional, blending eastern and western culture. Her works often incorporate intricate layers and her colors are always bold. She travels frequently in Europe, Asia and North America, taking photographs that serve as inspiration for her finished works. Much of her studio work is now focussing on painting Swiss mountains, multimedia on canvas.
Equally at home as a fine artist and a commercial studio photographer, Tzu Chen Chen splits her time between her own projects and work for clients, primarily in France's luxury goods industry. Clients include Cartier, Louis Vuitton, and Van Cleef & Arpels. Her personal work, in contrast, explores the dreamy ambiguities of emotion and the subconscious.
In addition to Tzu Chen's past publications in “Le grimoire de Vénus” (Paris) edition "Société des érivans", and “Goldstruck - A life shaped by Jewellery” (London), collaboration with Stephen Webster, edition SALMA, Tzu Chen has received international success, exhibiting across the globe more recently in Basel where she has received a number of sales for her Swiss mountain series.
