Dana Gasser: Germany
Dana was born in Germany and moved to Switzerland where she has been living and working since 1982.
Her paintings bring together a sense of intrigue and exploration, telling a story that invites the viewer the freedom to draw upon their own interpretation. Like a permanent changing map – she looks for new trails of colour, desire and twisted paths of noise and fun. Her new series "Playing with Moments & Emotions" was inspired by emotional snapshots. Teared. Shady. Undetected. Free and yet caught. Upside down in ones memories. Remnants diving. To dance barefoot in the snow.
With over 20 years experience in the exhibiting world, Dana has been extremely successful resulting in artworks being held in private collections in Germany, Italy and Switzerland.
“I draw lines, fill areas with colour, let wisps dance and ships sail. Silent, clueless, loud … and I am in the midst" - DG
