Vaida Mikliušienė was born in Lithuania, where she graduated from the School of Arts.
Through her work, she looks to capture a beautiful moment in time. A moment that blends blooms with secrets. One where nature intertwines around figures, trying to sprout, and unfold, to show their beauty. A moment from another day lived.
Vaida pays particular attention to detail and textures. Every painting is crafted through several layering techniques, evolving slowly, layer upon layer. Sometimes taking months at a time to complete, but the finished results are captivating.
Now living in Thun, Vaida is currently working in her studio and at the same time, is open to receiving private commissions.
