Coming Out of the Dark Series
The artichoke in the morning light was a memory of her light-hearted days in Sardinia, and she hopes to transfer this moment to the viewer.
During the difficult pandemic period, Gudrun felt the need to work on something that was aesthetically positive, colourful and innocent. Inspired by a momentary idea, she started with colourful fruits coming out of the dark.
Before anything changes, the old conditions and circumstances intensify as they come to a head! Now's the time to break through this circle, to search for a different direction. "Break Free" is a calling not to fall into lethargy or despair but rather to try a "New Beginning."
